Planning Your Party

The Date

Always remember to choose your date carefully! Try to avoid clashing with other events like friends parties, school fetes, holidays, major sporting events etc. It would be upsetting to organise your party and very few people turn up! Not only that, but think about traffic conditions that your guests and also your entertainer would need to take into consideration!

The Venue & Entertainer

Aways ensure you book your venue and entertainer as early as possible - entertainers get booked well in advance!

Who To Invite

Working out how many children to invite to a party is important. The average number is between 10 and 30. Please take into consideration the size of your home or venue when sending out invitations. Remember that the entertainer will need some space to work and if doing games and fun the children will need space to move and dance.

Invitations

Invitations should be sent out as early as possible to avoid guests missing out on the big day due to accepting an invitation elsewhere!

Dietary Requirements

Always remember to ask for details of any allergies or special dietary requirements that the guests may have.

At The Party

Balloons

We recommend you tie balloons to the front door, fence or gate of the venue to guide guests to the party.

Parking

We ask you leave a space for the entertainer to park as they will have equipment to unload. Where possible, room around the vehicle is sometimes needed for safe and easy unloading.

Presents & Gifts

Remember to leave a table spare to put the presents on, and take extra bags so that you can carry the birthday gifts home easily.

Contact Number For Guests

As you check-off guests arriving at the party, get a contact number from the parents who are not staying in case of emergencies.

Try To Avoid

Party Blowers

It's best not to hand out things like party blowers and poppers until after the entertainer has finished their show - even the loudest microphone cannot compete with the noise generated from them!

Balloons

From experience it is not a good idea to have lots of balloons scattered on the floor, as this seems to make the children more boisterous and excited. Also, if the balloons get popped this may upset any younger or shy children.

Don't Forget!

The Cake

Including matches to light the candles and extra serviettes to wrap cake pieces if taking them home.

Mobile Phone

Simply in case of emergencies!

Camera

Hugely important for capturing the special day for years to come! Also, don't forget spare batteries and extra film / memory card!

Kitchen Roll / Cloths

For obvious reasons! And wet wipes for sticky hands and faces!

Party Bags

Supplied by Partyman Superstore, we can supply party bags for all the guests and the birthday child. Please ask us for more details when booking your party!

We sincerely hope you have a fantastic party!
