There was once a scrawny boy called James Sinclair who lived in Elm Park. James had always known that he wanted to be a children's entertainer and then at 15 years of age something strange happened... James became 'Jimbo The Partyman' and from his Nan's spare room, 'The Partyman Company' was born!
By 2005, James was extremely busy and realised that he could venture out on his own rather than work alongside the entertainer he had been with. So James took on other entertainers to work for him, including 'Active Aaron' and they became 'The Partyman Team'!
On 25th May 2006, at just 21 years and 11 months, James opened 'Partyman World of Play' in Basildon. Partyman World of Play is the ONLY play centre in the UK to be opened that is operated entirely by professional children's entertainers, and also the first of its kind to be opened and owned by someone so young. Then in July 2008, 'The Partyman Company' and 'Partyman World of Play' proudly became winners at 'The Basildon Business Awards' in the category of 'New Company'.
That was the beginning of 'Jimbo The Partyman', 'The Partyman Company' and 'Partyman World of Play'. To date, 'The Partyman Company' is growing to be one of the best children's and adult entertainment specialists in the country and we're always striving to achieve that extra step towards complete customer satisfaction! 'Partyman World Of Play' is a vibrant and successful children's indoor playcentre with centres in Basildon where it started and also a second centre in Lakeside Shopping Centre, which opened in March 2009, offering the same fantastic play services, with the addition of a Drop And Shop Crèche, and also home to 'Twizzle Tops Day Nursery', Partyman's own nursery services with friendly professional staff. ‘Partyman World of Play, Lakeside/’Twizzletops Day Nursery’ are proud to announce that they were winners at the 2010 Thurrock Business Awards in the category of ‘New Company’.
In April 2010, Jimbo performed his first ever live theatre show at the Thameside Theatre, Grays in Essex to not one but three completely sell out audiences. Watch this space for news about a brand new theatre show for 2012!
In May 2010, Partyman Inflatables was launched and probably has one of the biggest choices of inflatables in the South East of England from a huge pyramid to an exciting pirate ship. Whether you are organising a School Fete, an End of Term Treat, an Inflatable Fun Day, a Team Building Event, or a Multi-Activity Fund Raising Daythen the Partyman Inflatables team are the ones to talk to.
In July 2010, the third ‘Partyman World of Play’ opened in Wembley. This new ‘Partyman World of Play’ has an outdoor area that matches the size and provides the same enjoyment as its indoor area – it is very unique with its own Partyman Beach, panning for gold, pedalo lake, crazy golf and inflatables as well as all the usual indoor activities you can expect from a Partyman World of Play. It is also the home to the second ‘Twizzle Tops Day Nursery!
In September 2011, Twizzle Tops Day Nursery opened its doors within Partyman World of Play in Basildon bringing the number of nurseries that Partyman operates to 3. September 2011, also saw the brand new Laser Kombat arena open right next door to Partyman World of Play in Basildon. This has been a huge success with adults and children alike and will be a big hit in 2012.
October 2011, saw us relaunch the Partyman Online Party Store www.partyman.co.uk for all of your party supplies and now provides one of the best online services in the UK.
From Nan's spare room in 2000 to now in 2012, James has a hugely successful entertainment company with eight full time entertainers (and growing!), three truly magnificent indoor play centres, three amazing day nurseries, a one-stop online partyman shop, the most bouncy fun inflatables you have ever bounced on and the most amazingly friendly staff you've ever seen!
So in a nutshell, the future is very bright for 'The Partyman Company' with new entertainers being added, new services for parties all over the UK, new play centres, new day nurseries and new theatre shows!
